
Catherine Falk, MA
Pioneered the family rights visitation bill titled, The Peter Falk Bill after her case in 2010, the Bill was drafted in 2011 and the first copy was submitted to Assemblyman, Mike Gatto for the state of California. Catherine took the amended draft to her father’s home state, New York where it was sponsored. She has since been lobbying for family rights legislation nationally. Catherine submitted a proposal to the Uniform Law Commission encompassing visitation, right of association language to be inserted into the Guardianship Act. Her proposal was accepted! Catherine is an advocate for elder abuse prevention, legislation for wards’ right of association among family members and an advocate for guardianship reform.
